The Ripps
6:00 – 6:30

"Snotty, fast and sharp" NME

"The best fun you can have without getting arrested!"
The Daily Mirror

Hobo Exile Hotel
5:20 – 5:50

"The hobos exist somewhere in the gap between Radiohead and Muse, only about 500 times more intense. They're loud, stirring and heartbreakingly beautiful in their fragility"........ "But, if you appreciate the battered, bruised and bleeding sounds of painful depth and hideous beauty then Hobo Exile Hotel will tear out your hearts".

Men In Caves
4:50 – 5:10

"...a breezy West Coast vibe...It's not very often that you get rock shanties with muscle (no pun intended)- and they're done well here in a Nirvana VS Decemberists way."
Artrocker

King Hermit
4:20 – 4:40

Blend catchy melodies, dirty riffs, witty lyrics, stomping grooves and stoccato beats. Stir in some Lennon-esque vocals. Garnish with a sprinkling of punky attitude and serve up this tasty Rockabilly-indie fusion to hungry kids everywhere.... delicious!

Bootleg Poets
3:50 – 4:10

"I love this band man, they've got proper edge - energy and rawness" Zane Lowe, Radio 1

Cynical and abrasive, these Poets are kicking up quite a storm with their catchy hooks, aggressive guitars and pure raw edge.

The Crooks
3:20 – 3:40

To really appreciate The Crooks’ sound, their live show is the full-on experience. It’s an energetic, raw, dirty and aggressive set that grabs your attention, pummels your ears and gets
your adrenalin going at full throttle.

Jamsons Nook
2:50 – 3:10

"...blending elements of Latin, funk, folk, and electronica, they are an endless stream of tight rhythms and thoughtful ramblings. Every gig is a unique experience...”

www.myspace.com/jamsonsnook

The Treehorns
2:20 – 2:40

The Treehorns are a 4-piece act formed in the summer of 2006. The band deliver a sound that reflects a love for honest, traditional song-writing. Essentially the Treehorns play pop songs - only pop songs that derive from a term that people might label ‘roots-rock’. Influenced by artists such as Tom Waits, Gomez and The Waterboys, the band infuse sounds of blues, folk-rock and country to provide a modern projection of traditional music in an indie setting.

The Way
1:50 – 2:10

It’s rare for a young unsigned band to bring you truly memorable songs. But The Way’s catchy rock-pop melodies
are just that in spades. With more hooks than Cap’n Birdseye,
drop-jaw guitar solos and a finely honed stage performance, The Way are a joy to behold.

Momma's in the Kitchen
1:20 – 1:40

Talk about Blues and most kids’ eyes glaze over. But, Holy Smoke! Have MiTK gone and done the unthinkable and made Blues interesting again? The answer is a resounding “YES!”
Unmissable!

Delta Rush
12:50 – 1:10

Fresh and quirky, Delta Rush’s optimistic sound signals good times ahead for anyone sick of the same, regurgitated piffle so often on offer. They’re fairly new to the scene, but are quickly making an impression. As they themselves put it...
“We come packin' nines...standard...” Hmmm...??

The Allies
12:20 – 12:40

Covstock is very proud that The Allies will be opening this year’s event. The band is largely the result of money
raised at last year’s event and the collaboration between the team and The Coventry Carers Centre.
